Open up My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2
Open up Body Shop too.
Keep the 'The Sims 2' folder open.
Make a Sim in Body Shop, the more custom content you use, the bigger the file size will be.
The bigger the file size, the longer it takes to upload.
The more time it takes to upload, the less you must hurry like a toddler on a sugar high.
When you are happy with your Sim, begin uploading as normal.
While Body Shop is still actively uploading your Sim (but finished the packaging stage),
go back to the Sims 2 folder you've got open and refresh it (press F5) you should see a number of JPEG files.
These are the pictures that get displayed on Uploaded Sim pages.
By default there are two files, the 'face' and 'full sim', that's the full body image.
If you have custom hair or skin, they'll be pictures for that too.
Copy and Paste the JPEGs to your desktop - do it quick,
once the upload is finished, the picture files will disappear.
Now we need to edit the images, you can stop the upload or leave it, it doesn't matter - just keep Body Shop open.
If you have managed all this, it is time to move on...
A note to non-Windows users - this site is aimed at the Windows version of The Sims 2. Mac users will find that my Sims 2 Key Printer will not work for them.
I have no idea how the Mac version of Body Shop works, so best of luck if you're attempting my Custom Picture Upload Tutorial.
