I can't have people spamming my download counters can I! 2) The standard HTTP Request logs are automatically generated by the server this site is hosted on. 3) I have no idea who you are, unless your browser is in the habit of sending me your information in it's HTTP Requests. If your browser does this, well, then I know what it tells me. 3.1) On that note, the website DOES use the User Agent string that your browser sends to each and every website you visit. The site uses it to determine which browser you are using (IE/Firefox/Opera etc), your Operating System (Windows/Mac/Linux etc) and, if your browser is Internet Explorer (or if you have set your browser up so...) to detect which version of the .NET Framework you already have installed. This information is used to customise the display of some pages to you, it is also one of the pieces of information that is stored as part of the usual HTTP Request logs. 4) This is a test, I found a "Privacy" type button on IE7 and I'm trying to find out what it does. 5) We live in an "I Want" society and culture here, and "I Wanted" a Privacy page too. Not that it means much. 6) Are these things even legally enforceable? 7) I need to re-download that spell checking module.
